I have just returned from the azkarah (memorial service) for my son, Keshet.
Two years have passed since he was brutally murdered.
The pain never fades.
But I want Keshet’s music to keep playing!
On October 7, my beloved son, Keshet Casarotti, was killed at the Nova Festival.
He was only 21- a vibrant flower full of life.
He was murdered near the Keshet School at the Keshatot Junction — a painful irony, as that name had always lit up my life.
His body stopped living that cursed morning.
But his story must continue to shine.
Keshet was a child of nature, music, and joy.
He had a huge heart, always giving, always bringing happiness to others.
Music was where he blossomed - dancing, smiling, and connecting people.
That is why I am establishing a Music Room in his memory at that same Keshet School.
There, children will learn to play, sing, and experience the joy and connection that Keshet gave to everyone.
I cannot bring my son back.
But I can build this Music Room to honor his memory.
From a mother’s heart, I ask you: please donate now.
Every contribution helps keep Keshet’s music alive.
With deepest gratitude, Natalia, Keshet’s mother
