Her Memorial
I don’t know what everyone else did.
But Danit - she didn’t run away.
When the terrorsts stormed the base, she stayed.
She kept speaking on the radio, calming others, saving lives, right up to the very last moment.
That was my Danit.
Only 19 years old.
While everything burned around her, she continued to act -
with composure, with courage, with heart.
She even shouted at the terrorists through the PA system:
“Our army is here - you’d better run!”
But even when they were already outside the door, she didn’t stop.
She kept reporting, protecting, helping.
Until the very end.
She always told me:
“If you do something, do it all the way. Do it the best you can.”
And that is exactly what she did. She stayed until the bitter end.
She is gone, but the silence she left behind screams.
I have decided to turn that silence into music.
I am establishing a Music Room in her name -
A place where children will come to learn to play instruments, sing, and create,
but also to feel.
Because anyone who enters will feel Danit.
From the depths of my heart, I ask you: help me let Danit’s voice be heard again.
Every donation will be like a new note in the melody she left behind.
Thanks to you, her voice will continue to resonate - in the hearts of children, through every note and every song.
